Patty
A 39-year old politician, now running for governor of the state of
Montana, in the West of the USA. As a small child, Patty had the
unusual experience of being taken care of by a family of wolves in the
wild. Now, she's an ardent environmentalist.
Betty
Patty's twin sister. Patty and Betty were separated in an accident 37 years ago. Neither knows of the other's existence. Betty works as a secretary at the Unified Energy Company (UEC).
Justin
A nasty man, the head of UEC. He will do anything necessary to make a profit, knowing that profits for the company mean big raises for him. He doesn't hesitate to use the people at UEC for his own purposes.
The Big River Valley
Not really a character, but a place -- a beautiful, wild place that has never changed. Justin and his UEC want to build a dam on the Big River. Patty and her fellow environmentalists want to prevent the dam from being built.
