Bellwood Sportsmen's Service Rifle League

THIS PAGE HAS NO AFFILIANTION WITH THE BELLWOOD SPORTSMEN'S LEAGUE SO IT IS UNNOFFICIAL

These are 50 round matches fired per the CPM rules, although NRA HiPower match rifles are permitted. All firing is at 100 yards. Registration begins at 0800 and matches begin at 0900. 10 minutes will be given prior to each relay for sighting. Fees are $10/Adult, $5/Junior, $5/reshoot. (Reshoot is shooting a second or third match on the same day, EACH reshoot is $5. Reshoots don't count for score, and you may change rifles.)

These matches are run by the Sportsmans Club. These are real nice matches, and often will have as many as 45 shooters. If you want to see photos and scores at past matches, you know what to do. A relay or single match takes about an hour and 15 minutes, so if you show up early, start at 9:00 O'clock, you are done by 10:15 or 10:30. The range has capacity for 20 shooters on each relay.

The Club also holds matches for special Military Rifles from time to time. In the past they have held "Mosin vs Mauser" and US Service rifle matches. As these are scheduled I will try to post them. Of course, any of these rifles may be used in these "regular" matches if fitted with iron sights.
